I am an evolutionary ecologist learning new ways to perform analyses.  I've found various websites and blogs with sample code to be extremely valuable in conducting my own analyses.  Here, I am freeing some of my code and new-programmer experiences into the wild in hopes that it might help you, as others' sharing has helped me.
